Energizing Meals for Busy (or exhausted) Days
We all have those weeks where life is extra chaotic—whether it’s finals week, a packed work schedule, or just one of those times when everything feels nonstop. When you’re low on time and energy, it’s easy to skip meals or grab whatever’s most convenient (hello, vending machine snacks). But fueling your body well during busy times is what helps you get through them feeling your best.
The key? Simple, no-stress meals that keep you energized.
Quick & Energizing Meal Ideas:
Breakfast: Overnight oats with nut butter & fruit (prep the night before = zero effort in the morning!).
Lunch: Wrap with rotisserie chicken, hummus, and veggies (no cooking required!).
Dinner: Stir-fry with pre-cut veggies, protein, and rice (15 minutes, start to finish!).
Snacks: Greek yogurt with honey & granola, trail mix, or apple slices with peanut butter.
How to Eat Well When You’re Exhausted:
Keep it Simple – Now is not the time for complicated recipes. Stick to easy, familiar meals.
Batch Cook When You Have Time – If you get a free moment, prep a couple of meals so Future You doesn’t have to think about it.
Stock Up on Easy Staples – Rotisserie chicken, pre-cut veggies, frozen meals, and protein bars can be lifesavers.
Don’t Skip Meals – Running on empty makes everything feel harder. Even a quick snack is better than nothing.
Hydrate! – Being even a little dehydrated can make you feel sluggish, so keep that water bottle close.
Real Talk from Me:
Finals week is coming up, and trust me—I get it. As a full-time student, business owner, and coach, some days I barely have time to sit down, let alone cook a fancy meal. That’s why I keep my kitchen stocked with easy, grab-and-go foods so I’m never running on fumes. Because let’s be real—being hungry and stressed is a terrible combo.
Try This:
Pick one easy meal or snack to prep ahead this week. Even just having something ready to go can make a world of difference when life gets hectic.
Always in your corner,
xoxo,
Paige
